SPF 15 provides moderate UV protection. This product is a tanning aid and is not intended as a primary sunscreen. For prolonged outdoor activity, use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ or SPF 50+ sunscreen. Avoid prolonged exposure. Wear protective clothing, hats, and eyewear.

When your skin sees UV, it produces melanin. That's what gives you your tan. The more your skin produces, the deeper and faster you tan.
